To all our patients,

 

Thank you all for your continued support and patience whilst we acclimatise to living with Covid-19.  We have made some changes to our procedures in accordance with our governing bodies and NHS guidelines.   

 

• Please DO NOT visit the practice if you have any symptoms of Covid-19 or have tested positive and instead contact us by telephone

• It is no longer compulsory to wear masks within the practices but if you are vulnerable and would like us to take extra precautions during your visit then please let us know in advance 

• Our Optometrists will continue to wear masks/face shields whilst performing your tests due to the close proximity but otherwise they will use their discretion as to when they are required 

• We politely ask you to follow any requests that our staff may give you regarding safety measures.  We do not ask without a valid reason and sometimes we are not able to share that reason due to patient confidentiality so please be respectful and follow instructions

• All our staff continue to be vaccinated and boosted 

• All practices maintain a high level of hygiene and cleanliness

• We have found that maintaining an appointment only system for collection of spectacles has proved popular with both patients and staff and will therefore continue
